These unpleasant emotions are like the symptoms, they are not the source of the dis-ease. They are the tools/triggers through which we can find the way back to the dis-ease. The dis-ease that exists within us as a thorn, blocking us from experiencing the pure bliss that we are, in our natural state of existence.
When there is a bacterial infection in the body, body’s natural course of action is to increase the heat of the body so that it can get rid of the growing bacteria. How does one become aware of this infection? We notice through fever. If we give medicine to control the fever without curing the infection, the fever comes back. Fever will continue to come back as long as the infection exists. And as the infection spreads, the temperature of the body (fever) also increases. Now if we heal the source of the fever, which is infection here, fever automatically comes down and temperature of the body returns to its normal range.
Similarly, healing is not about rejecting the emotions or hiding them or getting rid of them. Healing happens when we become aware of the source (wound) of the dis-ease. Our emotions are only there as guides to help bring awareness. They are always there in the body and rise up in situations when there is a sense of wound that needs healing (transformation).
So why do we feel negative about these unpleasant emotions?
Yes, they are unpleasant but they are meant to be that way so that we find the source of the dis-ease in the body. So why do we feel negative towards an emotion that is assisting us? It’s because of the conditioning and judgement we carry that “It’s bad to have unpleasant emotions”. So we resist these emotions and we fight these emotions, and when we can’t succeed, we suffer these emotions! What we resist persists! So does our unpleasant state, as long as we see the emotion as the problem from the eyes of the conditioning that we carry.
Let’s take another step deeper and see why we have this conditioning with us that is acting against us.
Let’s take an example of where we might have seen someone act out in anger and the consequence of that action was anywhere from unpleasant to worst possible human behavior (example: rape/murder). When we see something like that, more than likely it registers in our mind as “Anger causes bad things to happen”. Now let’s say we continued to function in our daily life with that belief that we formed/absorbed. Every single time we feel an emotion of anger, we act out by resisting it (caused by fear). We blame the person or situation that brought out that anger in us (Truth: that person or situation only brought out that which was already within us). Since our belief is that anger will now make things go wrong for us, we fight it as much as possible and put the burden of it on someone else (blame, yell or some other action coming from the pattern of the reactions we carry – another level of conditioning) to feel lighter ourselves. But do we really feel lighter ourselves? Well not really! We have just rejected a symptom. Our conditioning stopped us from allowing us to experience the emotion fully. So now we have blocked our path to the wound that needs attention/healing in our life and in our body. Without healing (transformation), the wound hurts and spreads further attracting more situations and emotions that consume our life.
In the bigger picture when we initially absorbed a pattern that we saw and made that into our conditioning, we missed a part of the truth there.
Let’s first see the things just as they are:
- Someone experienced anger – human emotion,
- They choose to act out with that anger – a behavioral pattern they carry,
- And it harmed others – consequence (of the action).
We only registered the pattern as “If we experience (1), we will act (2) and (3) will happen as a natural consequence”.
The absolute truth has 2 parts in it:
- “If we experience (1), it is telling us to stay with it and observe to find the source of it”.
- “If you act (2), (3) will happen as a natural consequence”.
When we are not in awareness, we put 2 independent truths together to make it into one sequential truth and believe that it is our full truth. And we make that into our conditioning, unknowingly putting blocks in our own path of healing.
In the first truth, when we experience (1) and stay with it, we will soon realize the behavioral pattern or conditioning (birthed from a fear) that we have and carried all along which caused the dis-ease in our body and our life.
What happened in second truth is a “choice”, a free will choice made by someone. And it’s also the truth of the universe that every action comes with a consequence.
Action (2) is not our truth and doesn’t have to be our choice at all.
The choice one makes to act out an emotion is what hurts, not the emotion itself. The emotion does not need healing. The behavioral pattern that acts out (or wants to act out) is what needs releasing from our cellular memory (Cellular memory remembers patterns inherited from the DNA, the society taught and absorbed from our own experiences that emerged out of ignorance – lack of awareness).
These patterns and this conditioning is what has brought pain and suffering all along. The rejected, the unaddressed and the suppressed! This is/was the dis-ease of our body, that which is not natural at all!!!
Once we become aware of this truth and release our conditioning (Basically allow the transformation of the unhealthy cells into healthy cells), our healing happens and we experience the bliss of what already existed deep within us all along – Love, Light & Peace ❤️ An absolute Pure Peace!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Do we experience the human emotions as we heal?
Yes, we do because we are in a human body! What emotions are we experiencing depends on what conditioning we are still carrying within. If we have no conditioning that is blocking our Pure Peace, we experience the emotion of Pure Joy (State of enlightenment)!!!
The denser the conditioning, the more we experience the unpleasant emotions, the lighter the conditioning, the more we experience the pleasant emotions. When we are healing, we realize that “There is nowhere to go or be, it is only in the present moment that we have everything we need, to just be!!!”
Love, Light & Peace,
